We Can Do It! — J. Howard Miller, 1942. Public domain.

About This
Domain

Registered August 6, 2008. One owner. Never brokered. Still here — because patience is a human virtue.

The Story

I registered PoweredByHumans.com in August 2008 because the phrase struck me as important. At the time it was a simple idea — the best things are made by real people who care. I sat on it.

Sixteen years later the world finally caught up. Now "powered by humans" is a statement of differentiation. It means you're not getting a chatbot. It means someone thought about it. It means accountability.

I've been approached to sell. The offers were not serious. This page exists so that anyone who actually understands the value of what's here can find me and have a real conversation.

Why Aged Domains Are Different

A domain registered in 2008 has 18 years of trust signals baked in with search engines. You can't fake that with a new registration. You can't manufacture it with SEO tricks. It either exists or it doesn't.

About the Image

"We Can Do It!" — J. Howard Miller, 1943. Created for Westinghouse Electric as an internal wartime morale poster. The copyright was never renewed and the work entered the public domain. It is freely usable by anyone for any purpose. Source: Wikimedia Commons.

Rosie the Riveter represents exactly what this domain stands for — human strength, human determination, and the irreplaceable power of real people doing real work. In 1943 that meant building warships. In 2026 it means being the kind of brand that people actually trust.
